Would you like to race up the strip, try your hand at a wheelie or display your machine in the Custom Show? There are many ways you can get involved in Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride.
Wheelie competition, RWYB and use of the drag strip. . .
If you’d like to participate in the RWYB, you’ll need to pay track fees for the day. One set of fees covers all three activities, but this is in addition to your admission.
Track fees are chargeable at £25 and available from the Santa Pod ticket shop, or by calling 01234 782828.
RWYB. . .
For most riders, drag racing is a sport made in heaven and Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride is your chance to put the hammer down in a safe and legal environment. You’ll receive a full performance printout after each run and you’ll finally know the all-important ¼ mile time of your machine. For just £25 you’ll get unlimited runs, so as many as you can squeeze into one day! Take on your mates, fellow club members, someone with a rival bike or simply whoever’s brave enough to line up against you. Win or lose, it’ll be a blast. The classes we’ll be running are as follows:
- Class A – Up to 500cc
- Class B – 500-750cc
- Class C – 750-1000cc
- Class D – Over 1000cc
- Class X – Non road legal bikes (racers)
NEW FOR 2017 – Drift Trikes!
Drift Triking is a new and up-and-coming sport in the UK. They’re tricycles – with a difference! A mixture between Go-Karts and Trikes with a 50cc motor getting them to speeds of up to 30mph. We have a fleet of them coming for anyone who dares to have extreme sideways fun.

Always wanted to try a motorcycle or scooter but don’t know where to get started? Get On, the motorcycle industry’s free ‘try out’ programme is coming to Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride.
It is open to anyone aged 14 or over who wants to try a motorcycle or scooter for the first time and is absolutely free.
Riders will be offered a 30 minute session with a professional instructor, during which they will be introduced to the gears, brakes, clutch and slow speed handling.
Sessions are between 9.30am and 5.30pm and can be booked in advance by CLICKING HERE or calling 02476 408040. You can just turn up on the day but sessions are subject to availability.
Helmets and safety clothing are provided, but riders need to wear long trousers and sturdy shoes. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
