As you know Race, Rock ‘N’ Ride will be upon us before you know it so we’re pleased to announce the bill for the live music on the Saturday evening. After a long day of watching the championship racing, smelling the burning rubber and listening to the famous sound of tyres struggling to find traction be sure to head down to Fuelers Bar to get in on the rockin’ late night entertainment.
Donning the stage in the bar will be the famous Limehouse Lizzy who continue to keep the spirit of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy alive, well and dominating stages worldwide. Lead Singer, bassist and all round entertainer Wayne Ellis has been described as “close as you can possibly get to the late great Philip Lynott himself”. In 2016, the band co-headlined a tour alongside Race, Rock & Ride 2016 performers LiveWire. Following the success with LiveWire in 2016, we know 2017 weekend will be rocking even more!
Supporting Limehouse Lizzy will be alternative rock band Anchors and Alibis. Formed in 2016, these Brummy lads are making a name for themselves supporting names such as Dorje and Vukovi with their original heavy rock music.
Of course any good music night is not complete without a DJ and we’re pleased to be welcoming back well-known Total Rock radio DJ Tina Saul. Total Rock was formed by formed by Radio 1 ‘Friday Rock Show’ presenter Tommy Vance and producer Tony Wilson. This radio station has been rock and rollin’ the ears of music fans since 2000! This really is the true voice of rock and metal, so make sure that you don’t miss what promises to be an evening to remember.
